Chrys Violet, Therapist In Los Angeles

Restorative & Real Individual Therapy

Do you feel like you’re constantly going through the same cycles?

Are you under a heavy load of anxiety or depression that you just can’t seem to shake off yourself?

Have you stayed stuck in the past for too long and need help letting it go?

It’s not easy to sit down and share your life story. Sometimes, it’s even difficult for us to face our own life story ourselves. But the fact that you’re here and have a desire - no matter how faint that spark may be - to help yourself get out of what you’re experiencing is what matters most. I’m so very happy that you’re taking this first step to rediscovering yourself.

As we work together to unveil what you want to move forward from, I offer a safe space for self-exploration and healing so that you don’t feel like you’re being judged for feeling your emotions or your thoughts. We work together to help you reach an inner state of acceptance and peace, knowing that you’re okay where you are right now.

I approach Individual Psychotherapy in Los Angeles with respect to where you are currently and gently nudge you along the best path for you. You receive customized therapeutic sessions with me to ensure that you feel 100% safe and free to be yourself. I help you look at your situation at different angles and discover insights that you may have not seen before. I guide you on improving coping methods and fostering a more balanced way to make your life easier - and more enjoyable.

*Note: Concierge Services are available for a more private, at-home therapy session.

“We are all substantially flawed, wounded, angry, hurt, here on Earth. But this human condition, so painful to us, and in some ways shameful - because we feel we are weak when the reality of ourselves is exposed - is made much more bearable when it is shared, face to face, in words that have expressive human eyes behind them…”

― Alice Walker

” To accept one’s past—one’s history—is not the same thing as drowning in it; it is learning how to use it. An invented past can never be used; it cracks and crumbles under the pressures of life like clay in a season of drought “

- James Baldwin

about

Individual Psychotherapy

With over 20 years of experience helping individuals, groups, and couples achieve a healthier, happier mind and life, I approach my therapy practice in a creative, intuitive way that’s not like the dry, clinical, and outdated method you see in other clinics or even in movies.

I believe in the power of a safe healing space that doesn’t inhibit you from personal growth and development. I believe that, when we approach ourselves with kindness and acceptance rather than judgement and criticism, we see ourselves in a more loving and empathetic way that leads us to natural self-improvement and healing.
